Chimay Abbey

Take a trip back in time to 1850, when a small group of monks settled on the wild plateau of Scourmont, near Chimay. The monks built a beautiful monastery and developed a farm, a brewery and a cheese factory. Take time to admire and visit this beautiful church. Lose yourself in the magnificent Abbey garden which is open to the public. A few steps from the Abbey, you will find the Chimay Experience, which offers you a tour about the production of Chimay’s Trappist beers and cheeses.
